Spent the morning reading fanfiction.

Was reading a series of FrostIron fics (titled Brothers) and it just... hit a bit too close to home. I know the focus was supposed to be on Loki but I could relate to Tony so well that it effing bites; the whole in-love-with-a-friend-who-knows-of-my-affections-but-still-would-never-look-to-me-beyond-as-a-friend-but-fuckit-I-love-her-anyways. Oh well.

Aerosols Do Not Mix Well With Gas Stoves.

Dear diary, today my kitchen exploded.

... Well, to be more precise: My dad was spraying insecticide at a cockroach that was near the stove and apparently, the stove's switch was not turned off. What followed was a a loud BOOM accompanied by my windows rattling.

(My brother was *not* helpful. We were in my room when it happened and the first thing he said was, "DID SOMEONE JUST JUMPED OFF OUR FLAT AND KNOCKED INTO YOUR WINDOW SILL.". Honestly, I don't know which is worse.)

My dad is fine (By fine, I mean the left part of his hair is singed and his eyebrows are scalded. No worries, I rendered the necessary first aid. /nurse-to-the-rescue) and for the rest of the entire day, everyone pretty much stayed clear out of the kitchen.

Including me. Which was quite a pity as I had taken to baking lately. D:

I have the time to bake but not to make props. Clearly my priorities are not sorted out. *guilty face*

BULLET-FORM UPDATES 1

BULLET-FORM UPDATES BECAUSE THEY'RE CONVENIENT AND COMPACT AND I DO WHAT I WANT.

- Brother got hospitalised for a very serious infection. (NAY.) Spent a month going back and forth visiting him in the ICU before he was transferred to a normal ward. Life goes on as normal for him now with his monthly blood transfusion. (YAY.)

- I officially graduated from Nursing. Woah. Still jobless largely due to the reason above but I'll start job hunting soon.

- Broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years. Not sure if I did the right thing but I seem to be coping with life quite acceptably now.

- Cosplayed Agito at Cosfest last week. There is room for improvement still. To note.

- Attempted prop-making in progress. Will update when I can. ... No scratch that, will update when I *feel like it*.

- Drowning my sorrows in coffee when I feel incredibly lonely. Which is quite often nowadays really.

- Coffee makes me get sore throat.

- Another alternative is listening to my questionable song playlist and being trapped in my feels.

- ... I should probably go get a job right about now. Yup.
